Kevin Durant calls Oklahoma City'Home in podcast with C.J. McCollum

The Portland Trail Blazers guard started by expressing his displeasure with DeMarcus Cousins' signing with the Golden State Warriors.

"Why not Kevin Durant?". Durant continued by telling CJ to "get out yo' feelings" and "don't worry about what goes on at the top". "Snakes in the grass boy I tell ya", Durant wrote on Twitter. Durant said in an interview with Yahoo Sports.

Kevin Durant's most recent social media antics didn't involve a burner account or confronting kids.

McCollum stoked the flames on Twitter by answering a Barstool Sports host's question about Durant. McCollum said in a June tweet that Durant "shouldn't have gone there [to the Warriors]". Since leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Warriors after losing to Golden State in the playoffs, Kevin Durant has been roundly ripped for his "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" attitude. "All you really gotta do is watch me hoop, right?"

While the tweets between Durant and McCollum have dominated the headlines, the podcast covered a wide range of topics from Durant joining the Warriors to the battles between the Warriors and Trail Blazers. I know y'all don't like me, but get out the way and let this [expletive] roll. It's everybody's sentiments, like, 'Yo, shut up, K.D.' I'm not talking, I'm just being me.

Durant responded by tweeting, "U think that low of me CJ?" "CJ and I will go have some wine with him in NY when he gets back from China - and take a picture if y'all really don't believe me". "Really, how are the words of those people more valid than mine?" When I'm on my phone in the middle and in between practices, of course I'm going to respond. I got too many texts or I talk too much on Instagram or I talk too much on Twitter or I don't know how to talk to my teammates, or I am angry or insecure or sensitive. Portland isn't going to win a championship.
