Cavs reportedly intend to keep Love

LeBron James' legend is cemented, no need to chase rings, says Shaquille O'Neal

A week ahead of the June 29 deadline that LeBron James has to exercise his $35.6 million contract option for next season, Cleveland Cavaliers general manager Koby Altman says he and James' representatives have already established a "good dialogue".

Love, who will turn 30 in September, averaged 17.6 points on 45.8 percent shooting (41.5 percent from 3) and 9.3 rebounds in 59 games during the regular season for the Cavs, missing a chunk of time with a hand injury.

Cleveland have faced the Golden State Warriors in three of the last four Finals series, yet they have won just one of those match-ups.

With the trajectory of their franchise riding on where he decides to play next season and beyond, the Cleveland Cavaliers will enter this year's draft not knowing if they're choosing a player to help them - and James - contend for another championship, develop a prospect for the future or potentially take a player to trade. While Sexton apparently impressed the Cavs enough for them to make him the first point guard to come off the board, it begs questioning whether the move will be enough to entice James to remain with the team.

LeBron James may have one foot out of the door, but Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton is not about to let the man go.

Collin Sexton endeared himself to the Cavaliers with his competitive streak, speed and attitude long before they picked him in the National Basketball Association draft. It's a fine pick, as he's an extremely gifted point guard. Almost two weeks before James announced that he would take his talents to South Beach during "The Decision" in 2010, Smith reported that he would team up with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade on the Miami Heat.

"We continue to have good dialogue with his management team", Altman said, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

Some Democrats with eye on 2020: ‘Abolish ICE’
Upping the ante, Trump tweeted that all law enforcement is in the Democrats' cross-hairs. Mark Pocan, D-Wis., said he would introduce legislation to eliminate the agency.

"My problem toward the end of my career was I was trying to shut everybody up and I was greedy (to win more titles)", O'Neal said to ESPN Friday.

If there's no good landing spot or ideal landing spot for him then Cleveland maybe turns out by default to be the best place.

I probably would have taken Mikal Bridges over Sexton. Dan Gilbert is well-known for being very hands-on as an owner, and while he doesn't technically make the draft choices, the guys that he hires do, and they have been less than stellar.

He is just too risky for me.

He went on to be named the SEC's top newcomer and a first-team all-conference selection.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that James' camp "liked" Sexton.

And no other major player appears to have come close to shifting sales in recent years, as TickPick also analyzed year-to-year increases or drop-offs for teams that added or lost the following players: Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Dwyane Wade and Gordon Hayward.
