Nigeria World Cup kit sells out in minutes, fans queue

There have been long queues at shops in London for the shirt which is inspired from the Nigeria strip worn at the 1994 World Cup in the United States.

Three million shirts were said to have been pre-ordered, while non-official copies have been in huge demand in the country's capital Lagos this week.

Nigeria's "Naija" kit has been a pop culture phenomenon since Nike released the design in February and began accepting preorders.

The World Cup is set to kick off on June 14 with a game between Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia.
