Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that "ABC does not tolerate comments like those" made by Roseanne Barr.

"While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication", tweeted the French pharmaceutical giant in an acerbic post that quickly went viral.

Barr, who insisted she is "moving on", deleted that tweet, too.

In another self-serving retweet, Ms. Barr posted words of encouragement from the right-wing British commentator Katie Hopkins, who lost her job a year ago at the radio station LBC after tweeting that a "final solution" was needed to combat terrorism.

Her costars were pictured looking downcast after her show was cancelled and Ms Jarrett spoke out to point the finger of blame at President Trump. "I figured someone would take her phone away or monitor her", he said.

As previously reported by the Inquistir, Roseanne was canceled by ABC president, Channing Dungey, on Tuesday due to the nature of Barr's recent tweets. She called it "abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values".

Roseanne Barr came for Whoopi Goldberg and she was hit hard with the clap back.

Michael Fishman, who portrayed the character of DJ Conner on the show, says that the day of the cancellation was one of the "saddest" days of his life.

While Barr has apologized for her tweet about Jarrett, she has also repeatedly defended it - calling her words "insensitive, not racist." Overnight Barr retweeted messages of support from fans but also asked them not to defend her comment. While they will all be paid for another season either way, there are reports that ABC may create a show around the cast members that are left. "It represented the work of hundreds of talented people". I made a mistake.

Ellis went on to explain that comparing black people to apes goes straight to the heart of dehumanizing someone. But much of its progress would have been threatened if it looked the other way at Barr's tweet.

The streaming service Hulu also said it would be removing the sitcom from its library. She was still replying to fans' tweets as of Wednesday morning. Clinton herself corrected Barr online.

An old picture of Roseanne Barr dressed as Adolf Hitler, wearing a swastika and pulling burnt cookies from an oven, splashed on the front of the New York Daily News Wednesday like a neon sign asking ABC executives: What were you thinking?

That led to the response on Twitter by the drug maker Sanofi.

In a since-deleted tweet, Barr wrote that if the Islamist political movement "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby = vj".
