Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has hinted that the shape-shifting superhero, whose alter-ego is a young Muslim woman named Kamala Khan, could hit the big screen after the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4 film. Its direct sequel, the still-officially-untitled Avengers 4, is due out in theaters May 3, 2019.
Infinity War even beat the previous record-holder Marvel's The Avengers, which grossed S$13.7 million in 2012. No matter how this battle shakes up, Disney is guaranteed to have the third and fourth highest grossing films of all time so I am going to guess that the Disney execs aren't sweating it all that much. With the Marvel Cinematic Universe recently crossing $15 billion in worldwide box office receipts, the moviegoing public's hunger for comic book films seemingly knows no bounds.

The next Star Wars film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, is released on May 24.
"Infinity War" is now poised to pass 2015's "Jurassic World" ($1.67 billion) and take a real run at joining "Avatar", "Titanic" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" as the only movies to cross the $2 billion mark.
