Mr. Trump also denied that he had any knowledge about a $130,000 payment to the adult film actress Stormy Daniels, who alleges that she had a sexual encounter with the president years before he took office. And he finally addressed it!

"No", Trump told reporters onboard Air Force One when asked if he knew that his longtime attorney Michael Cohen gave $130,000 to Daniels 12 days before the election.

In a Tuesday interview on WABC Radio's "Curtis and Cosby" show, David Schwartz, who's representing Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, said Avenatti has no proof that Daniels and the president had a sexual relationship.

Speaking with reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump responded "No" to a question about whether he had known Cohen paid Daniels, and insisted he had no knowledge of where the money came from.

Trump claiming he didn't know about the Daniels payment, as reported by CNN, was a result of the president being advised not to speak about the Stormy situation in public, but Trump broke his silence over the topic. Initially, Stormy Daniels not only denied the affair, but also the existence of a non-disclosure agreement. She claims it's void because Trump did not sign it.

"The strength of our case just went up exponentially", Avenatti tweeted later Thursday.

Spotify Technology shares opened at $165.90, up almost 26% from a reference price of $132 set by the NYSE late on Monday. The shares quickly wobbled in their first hour of trading, though remain well above the NYSE's reference price of $132.

Daniels claimed in her 60 Minutes interview that she was threatened by an unknown man following her tell-all interview with In Touch Magazine in 2011.

Trump demurred when asked why Cohen made the payment. She is now suing Trump to invalidate non-disclosure agreement that she signed but he allegedly did not.

"As history teaches us, it is one thing to deceive the press and quite another to do so under oath", he said.

The payment came in conjunction with a nondisclosure agreement Daniels signed that was created to prevent her from speaking about the alleged sexual encounter.

"Now it's not premature", Avenatti said, since the other side has since filed a motion to compel arbitration.
