Eagles CB Worley arrested, police use Taser

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley has been tasered and arrested by police after he became combative with officers after being found passed out in his auto.

After turning when he was found by police at his own vehicle Daryl Worley had been tased and detained, " a report said.

The Eagles confirmed Worley's arrest but had not comment, saying they were still "gathering information".

Cornerback Daryl Worley was acquired by the Eagles last month in exchange for receiver Torrey Smith. On his Twitter last week he asked for financial support for his mother, Linda Fields, and her candidacy for the Pennsylvania State Senate. Just as troubling, Worley allegedly had a gun on him when the police arrived on the scene.
