Once again the "Fandom" of the cricketer was witnessed during the match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals on Friday.

The management of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team in the on-going 2018 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) did the unthinkable when it arranged a special "CSK train" to Pune for the benefit of die-hard fans of the team who have been robbed of the possibility of watching CSK's home-matches in Chennai.

CSK racked up a mammoth total of 204/5 in their 20 overs, thanks to Watson's century, which was the second of this season's IPL.

This was the first match for CSK being played in Pune after their home matches were shifted out of Chennai.

Watson was in fact dropped in the very first over of the game by Rahul Tripathi at slip. This was Chennai's third win in 4 matches and Rajasthan's third defeat in 5 matches.

Theresa May's Irish Border Plan 'Annihilated' By Brussels In Boost For Remainers
The Brexit department of the United Kingdom government is stressing it remains committed to avoiding a hard border with Ireland. She is facing pressure ahead of a vote in the Commons next week on keeping the United Kingdom in the European Customs Union.

In their last match against Kings XI Punjab, Ambati Rayudu (49) and Dhoni (79) nearly handed Chennai a hat-trick of wins but they fell short by four runs.

After Rayudu's departure, Raina and Watson came together to join 81 runs and although wickets fell from the other end, Watson was dismissed only in the final over, in an attempt to score maximum runs, long after he had done the damage. The pair put on 44 in 28 balls to take CSK over the 200 run mark. However already 50 runs were on the board and it was Watson who was the danger man. On the dropped catch, he said, "I'm not sure". CSK have not played their best cricket just yet, but have had moments of individual brilliance.

Gopal picked up three wickets for Rajasthan.

Chasing 205 to win, RR lost early wickets and never really recovered from there. For CSK, it was allround bowling performance with Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Dwyane Bravo, Karn Sharma taking two wickets apiece. After winning the toss, the Rajasthan Royals elected to field first, but were not good enough in front of a masterclass from Watson.
