Carrie Underwood announces new album release date

"I was just taking the dogs out to go pee-pee one last time and I just, I tripped", she continues.

But Bones pointed out that Underwood didn't really look any different.

Multiplatinum global superstar and Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood announced today that she will release "Cry Pretty", her first studio album on Capitol Records Nashville on September 14. There's one lone step ...

The scar, which was not visible at Sunday night's ACM Awards when the singer performed, was noticable during her interview with Bones. "[The accident] happened shortly after the CMAs", she said on the Storme Warren Show.

"I'm so proud of my new album, Cry Pretty, and I hope everyone loves it as much as I do", the singer said.

Alonso held off strong competition from left-backs such as Liverpool's Andy Robertson and Tottenham's Ben Davies. Salah has been in an impressive form since returning to the Premier League last summer.

Although Underwood appeared to own the ACM stage easily, she admitted to Bones that the experience was very "overwhelming".

"I fell down [and hurt] my right wrist", Underwood explains on Thursday's Bobby Bones show on iHeartRadio. Though she was afraid someone would "creep" on her at the grocery store and post it on Instagram while she was healing, she emphasized, "I've been very fortunate with the healing process". But I was at a point where I didn't know how things were going to end up. "I didn't know what it was going to heal like". "It wasn't pretty. I had a little chipped tooth, but it was just my skin ― thank the good lord". "But now if I put makeup on, he's like 'Mommy, your boo boo's all gone'".

Underwood returned to the stage at the 2018 ACM Awards, singing her brand-new single, "Cry Pretty", and marking her first time to stand before a crowd since the accident in November. In addition to co-writing the single with Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, and Liz Rose (aka The Love Junkies), Carrie is co-producing her album with fellow writer/producer David Garcia.

Underwood, who is a seven-time Grammy Award victor, gives fans an intimate look inside her recording and co-producing process for Cry Pretty in this exclusive album trailer seen below.
