Smallville actress Allison Mack will be released on a $5 million bond and confined to a California home as she awaits trial on felony charges for her involvement in an alleged Albany-area sex cult.

Ms. Mack was directly below Mr. Raniere and recruited her own "slaves", prosecutors said. But authorities allege it is a pyramid-scheme cult that recruits young women to be sex slaves.

Mack played Chloe, Clark Kent's best friend, on Smallville, which aired on the WB/CW for 10 seasons, ending in 2011.

Allison Mack was arrested last week for her role in Keith Rainere's sex cult DOS, which for some reason shares a name with an archaic Microsoft operating system.

Allison Mack leaves Federal court Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in the Brooklyn borough of NY.

It was reported that Mack's belongings were taken from her NY home in a U-Haul truck this weekend. The former "Smallville" actress was indicted last week on charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy in NY federal court.

She appeared in court in a green jail suit and kept her hands held behind her back. Mack and other DOS masters concealed Raniere's status at the top of the pyramid from new recruits.

Nigeria Urges Citizens to Stop Plastic Pollution
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the 2018 Earth Day marked on April 22, has the theme " End Plastic Pollution ". Together, we can exhort universities, schools, school teachers and students to end plastic pollution throughout our islands.

She will be released Tuesday after posting bail, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Mr. Raniere, who has denied wrongdoing, wrote in a letter to Nxivm members: "Over the past months, there have been extensive independent investigations performed, by highly qualified individuals, and they have firmly concluded that there is no merit to the allegations that we are abusing, coercing or harming individuals".

"As alleged in the indictment, Allison Mack recruited women to join what was purported to be a female mentorship group that was, in fact, created and led by Keith Raniere", U.S. Attorney Richard P. Donoghue said in a statement. Federal judge Viktor Pohorelsky agreed to allow the former actress to remain under the custody of her parents in their home in California. "The victims were then exploited, both sexually and for their labor, to the defendants' benefit".

As part of the bond deal, Mack was also ordered to not have contact with other members of NXIVM including Battlestar Galactica's Nicki Clyne, India Oxenberg, the daughter of Dynasty actress Catherine Oxenberg, and Seagram's liquor heiress Clare Bronfman.

Mack allegedly "required her slaves... to engage in sexual activity with Raniere".

If convicted of the charges, Mack and Raniere each face a minimum of 15 years and up to life in prison. Kreuk says she left NXIVM years ago and commended the women who exposed DOS.
