Oscar nominee Laurie Metcalf, who is reprising her role as Aunt Jackie, agreed that stepping back on the set was like a time warp. She got three Emmys for her her work on Roseanne.

"No, I kept it and I'm not bringing it back".

"You want Pence?" she said. "I said we would want to do some new, original sketches and they thought a clip show was better", Roseanne explained.
