The special event happened during a secret ceremony in the Royal Chapel at London's St. James's Palace on the evening of Tuesday, March 6, according to a new report.

The 36-year-old's baptism is the latest step on her road to royalty.

Sophia is 10-years-old and came along with her classmates to Millennium Point at Birmingham to see Prince Harry and his fiancé Meghan Markle.

Meghan's fiancé Prince Harry pulled astonished Sophia Richards out of the crowd to meet the USA actress on the couple's walkabout after she told him of her ambition to follow in the footsteps of the Suits star, reported the Daily Mail.

The wedding will be paid for by the royal family, however the former Suits star is said to be paying for the honeymoon as her wedding gift to Harry, with the total cost reportedly more than $AUD200,000.

While Markle did not need to become an Anglican in order to get married in the church, she made a decision to join to honor Queen Elizabeth, who is the head of the Church of England.

The little girl in question, Sophia Richards, stopped Prince Harry during his meet and greet to tell him she wanted to be an actress one day. "He said, 'You need to be confident and you can achieve whatever you want to achieve, '" she later told The Mirror.

From the sounds of things, these protests haven't put Meghan off as her wedding dress is rumoured to cost an incredible £400,000. She told Harry and he said "Canadians are everywhere".

"For me it's very important to want to hit the ground running ... even if it's doing it quietly behind the scenes, which is what I've focused my energy on thus far", she said, according to the BBC.

It is believed that Harry's brother Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge were not in attendance, and the Queen also did not attend the ceremony.

They then visited Coach Core, which is run by The Royal Foundation and provides sports apprentices to young people.
