When can Man City be crowned Premier League champions?

Jose Mourinho revealed his expletive-filled half-time rant inspired Manchester United's dramatic 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.

Goals from Andros Townsend and Patrick van Aanholt looked to have hoisted Palace away from danger, but Chris Smalling, Romelu Lukaku and Matic replied to break Selhurst Park hearts.

Chris Smalling scored the first United goal of the game before Lukaku equalized the scores with only 14 minutes to the final whistle. Only for Nemanja Matic to score a victor in stoppage time. Before the game we knew how important this was to really try and make a gap with the other teams, so it's such a great feeling.

During the game, Mourinho vented his frustrations when his team were losing by way of kicking a water bottle.

The rivalry between Liverpool and United is intense and as a kid growing up as a Red on Merseyside, this was the fixture that I always watched while hiding behind the back of my sofa and it will be no different all these years on Saturday.

"Their (Palace's) second goal made things much more hard for us but Chris Smalling's goal was very important", said Mourinho.

He wasn't being overly pessimistic; he sat with his face sunk into his hands as United roared back with three second-half goals. But the players kept an unbelievable attitude.

Palace remain in the relegation zone - a point behind the safety of 17th.

Laliga: Real Madrid silence stubborn Getafe
It was important to be good and serious so we're ready for Tuesday. "We're used to hard atmospheres". They are important players but we have to look to Tuesday's game.

United started in an unconvincing fashion after losing the ball on numerous occasions and in the 11th minute Palace got off to a dream start.

The out of form Pogba, dropped several times by Mourinho recently, was a major cause of the visitors' woes as the France midfielder wasted possession and was caught out of position time and again.

"It's like it's not serious, it's like a joke to him in terms of the way he goes about things".

"The quality is there for sure but we have to be honest we have to do more because in this league every team is very strong".

The Selhurst Park scoreboard to the right of the Manchester United section hit 9:40pm, the signal for a group of fans travelling by the last train back to Manchester to leave the ground.

When Palace won a free-kick, Jeffrey Schlupp alertly took it quickly, sending van Aanholt scampering clear on goal.

Nemanja Matic's first goal for United turned out to be a special one, as he collected a loose ball about 25 meters out and sent a dipping shot into the corner.
