The Jets will have five quarterbacks under contract after the official signings of Josh McCown and Terry Bridgewater, and that number could increase.

ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported the two sides closed on an agreement and NFL Network broke the news on the value of the deal.

A fifth-round pick in 2014, Williamson was considered the top free agent inside linebacker on the market. He posted slightly better numbers in 2016, rushing for 952 yards while averaging 4.8 yards per attempt. It was a natural fit given his history with Jets current defensive backs coach Dennard Wilson as the two worked together with the Rams for several years.

He rushed for 3,118 yards and 21 touchdowns in four seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Count me out when it comes to Mayfield, who has a size limitation at 6-feet and whose cockiness borders on the kind of arrogance that won't work in the Jets' locker room.

The New York Times , which first reported the development, said the subpoena included documents related to Russian Federation . It's unclear how much effect the new US measures will have in influencing Russian actions in the United States or Europe.

The 25-year-old Crowell complements veteran Bilal Powell and second-year back Elijah McGuire in New York's running game. He rushed for 853 yards with an average of 4.1 yards per carry last season. Instead of taking a chance on Bridgwater or giving Cousins a huge contract, the Broncos opted to sign Keenum, a quarterback they are familiar with. Johnson gives the Jets a true number one cornerback who thrives in press coverage.

NY even addressed its need for a kicker, signing Cairo Santos. His breakout season came in 2015, when he had a career-high seven interceptions. The offensive line has also been solidified with the addition of former Washington Redskins center Spencer Long.

Bridgwater was once a franchise staple of the Minnesota Vikings, but a leg injury suffered prior to the 2016-17 season put not only his status as the go-to guy under center in question, but his entire National Football League career.
