The California Adventure attraction will become a "completely immersive Super Hero universe", anchored by "Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!" in the space now occupied by the kiddie attraction "A Bug's Land".

Because of a licensing agreement with Universal for its Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida, that predates its purchase of Marvel, Disney doesn't have the rights to the Marvel Comics superheroes east of the Mississippi.
At Disneyland Resort, a separate Super Hero-themed land is in the works, featuring attractions centered around the Guardians of the Galaxy, the rebooted Spider-Man, as well as the OG Avengers. Disney said the new attractions have been developed in partnership with Marvel Studios and Marvel Themed Entertainment. California Adventure already is the home of the "Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!" attraction.

Over at Disneyland Paris, the new Marvel-themed land is going to be built inside of Disney Studios Park. The land will replace what is now "a bug's land" - "It's Tough to Be a Bug" closed on March 19 and the remainder of the land will close late this summer to allow for construction to begin.
The super-hero attraction is expected to replace the "bug's land" area inspired by the 1998 Disney/Pixar film "A Bug's Life".
In addition to the additions coming to California Adventure, Disney is also planning on re-theming the Rock 'N Roller Coaster in Disneyland Paris as an Avengers attraction as well as an Ant-Man attraction in Hong Kong.
