Brown hurt, but C's capture win

After the Detroit Piston's loss last night, the Boston Celtics had to win just one of their final seventeen games in order to secure a trip to the National Basketball Association playoffs.

Brown got loose on a fast break, side-stepped a defender and threw it down through a foul, but after touching the rim he got off balance and fell down hard on the back of his head.

The medical staff eventually made its way out onto the court and Brown recovered enough to be able to walk back to the locker room as the crowd gave him an ovation. After his concussion test, Brown was reportedly taken to a hospital for a CT scan and other evaluations.

Brown, 21, is averaging 14.1 points per game in his sophomore season after being the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Morris was leading all scorers at the half with 14 points (6-11 FG) and five rebounds, with Kyrie Irving not far behind with 11 points (4-8 FG), three boards and three assists.

As of now, the Raptors will have a chance to play against the Boston Celtics three more times before the playoffs begin.

Making his first start since Phoenix's win over Memphis on February 28, Jackson played 13 minutes and tallied six points, two rebounds and two assists against Oklahoma City.

US Economy Adds 313000 Jobs in February, Unemployment Rate Remains Steady
San Diego County lost 20,500 jobs in January, as the unemployment rate rose to 3.6 percent from 3.3 percent in December. February's hiring surge points to a US job market that remains robust, and might even be strengthening.

The Celtics clinched a playoff spot with their win Thursday, but their minds were on Brown. "I was just happy he was able to get up and walk off because that was one of the worst falls I've seen".

"We're so close as a group, and we'll make sure Jaylen is okay", Boston's Kyrie Irving said in a postgame interview.

Towns notched a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Wiggins added 13 points, but they were a combined 11-of-33 from the field and couldn't match Irving's spurt in crunch time.

Nemanja Bjelica scored a career-high 30 points on 11-for-16 shooting, including 6 for 9 from 3-point range.

"I probably had one of the better looks [at the fall]", Celtics big man Al Horford said after Boston's victory Thursday.

After losing three straight games before the All-Star break, the time off came at a flawless time for the Boston Celtics as they were able to rest and regroup in a bid to return to form for the second half of the season.
