"As alleged in our complaint, The Weinstein Company repeatedly broke NY law by failing to protect its employees from pervasive sexual harassment, intimidation, and discrimination", Schneiderman said in a statement.
The Met Police are now investigating nine different accusations from women against Weinstein.
Schneiderman's office said any sale must ensure that victims are compensated.

In the new suit, Weinstein is accused of telling several employees, "I will kill you", "I will kill your family" and "You don't know what I can do".
