Fortnite Battle Royale Season 3 is nearly here, so Epic has revealed new details about the incoming free content drop. Unlike previous Battle Passes that could be purchased with real money, this season of content only unlocks in-game. There'll be six outfits (including that spacesuit seen in the image above), three pickaxes, four emotes, three gliders, three back blings (cosmetic backpacks for your character), five skydiving FX trails, eight loading screens (I'm as clueless as you are about that one), 23 banners, and 21 emoticons. Battle Pass, for those who don't know, was an in-game purchase that allowed players to level up faster and earn more cosmetic items for Epic's free-to-play Battle Royale mode. The quick turnaround on development of this new map could be in response to the quickness shown by Epic Games in its development of Fortnite: Battle Royale, PUBG's main competitor, which detailed its forthcoming third season of Battle Pass content on Tuesday.
Epic has also completely renovated the challenge system, moving away from three daily options and instead adding seven new weekly challenges. As Polygon highlights, you'll need to spend around $150 if you want everything without having to play at all.
Season 3 begins February 22!
While fans will have to wait one day extra to start their Fortnite season 3 campaign, they have been dealt some great news which will soften that blow. Epic states that players will still take the same amount of time to complete them all though. Well, because of all of these complaints, Epic Games, who is the developer of this game, have made a decision to try and make it up to fans by not only fixing some of the weapon issues but by also adding new weapons.
UK wages are rising even as unemployment ticks higher
Other figures revealed that average earnings increased by 2.5 per cent in the year to December, unchanged from the previous month. Unemployment rates are calculated by people who are registered looking for work as a proportion of the working age population.
However, it's worth noting that most Fortnite updates require the game to go offline for server maintenance. Update 3.0.0 lets you "place structures right through large objects, meaning you can now build pretty much anywhere at anytime".
However, just after the teaser Tweet was released, players logging-on to Fortnite were presented with an 'update message, ' which confirmed that the Desert Eagle will be included in the game under the title of 'Hand Cannon'.
