Unflavoured by numerous Arsenal faithful, Wenger has tabled a bid believed to be somewhere in the region of £25million but Manchester City's interest has certainly added extra spice to the proceedings.

"We don't have an agreement with anybody".

Both clubs failed with bids for Evans last summer but they remain interested in the former Manchester United centre-half as they bid to bolster their defences in this month's transfer window. "I think the best thing is not to talk", Wenger said in a press conference on Tueaday, when asked about Evans.

City would be getting an experienced worldwide player who is proven in the Premier League and the underrated defender has improved since joining West Brom from Manchester United for £6m in 2015.

Houston police officials confirmed that a missing person's report was filed in Roland's case, but they have said little else. They said that she appeared "unharmed" in an updated Tweet and said that she would be taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Sources have also told ESPN FC that City could conclude a deal for Sanchez by the end of the week but, while Wenger indicated that there had not yet been a bid, he suggested Arsenal could cash in on the Chile forward this month. I don't know what their policy is. Financially, if the decision comes to finances with Manchester City, we know we will be second best.

"When solicitations happen you respond, at the moment it's very quiet".

Arsenal may facilitate a few departures in the coming weeks with a number of peripheral players searching for game-time ahead of this summer's World Cup but they may also welcome some fresh faces, with West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans high on Wenger's wishlist.

This said, the BBC's Simon Stone claims that Arsene Wenger is "particularly keen" to land Evans.
