Snapchat will from today let you share Stories on Facebook, Twitter & elsewhere

Snapchat update lets you share Stories with people who don't even use the app – here's how to use it

Snapchat Stories are coming to the web

With new application, the company seeks to enable users for sharing content from within the app to let people provide information to those, who do not use the platform.

This can be done using a share link generated in-app, and can be passed around other messaging platforms, internet forums, and other social networks easily.

Snap carefully clarifies that this share option will only work for three varieties of public Stories - Official Stories, Our Stories, and Search Stories.

The feature will begin rolling out to Snapchat users now on the redesigned app on Wednesday, which is now available in countries including Australia and Canada (not yet in the U.S.).

A new feature that tells you how many times people have visited your Instagram profile in the past week appears to be in development. You will be able to share your stories via text messages, iMessages, email, etc., by grabbing the URL. Further, these links will then be redirected and opened through a media player that will be hosted on Snap's website.

Diego Schwartzman: 'Rafael Nadal can play aggressive tennis for four hours'
It was a lot of hours on court. "It will be definitely be a big challenge", he said of the Nadal clash. Open in 2014, so this is also lovely one", Cilic said of his latest major milestone.

To share content, users tap and hold tiles in Discover. Stories will be available for 30 days, as will Search Stories, outside of the app, while Official Stories will only be available for 24 hours outside of the app, said a Snap Inc. spokesperson.

In what seems to be its efforts to fight the sedated growth of the platform, Snapchat is apparently working to bring its flagship Stories feature to the web. Attracting more eyes to the content within the app is one way to grow its user base.

To do this, you need to dive into the Discover part of Snapchat, and look for a story you'd like to share.

Earlier this week, Instagram introduced GIF stickers, which you can add to photo and video Stories. If finding your favourite Snapchat filter is the worst thing that happens to you today, it has been a good day.

It now has more than 178 million daily active users.
