Six people were injured - three of them seriously - after an SUV smashed through the front of a launderette in NY.

Among the injured was a pregnant woman, who was comforted by a witness to the crash.

"Her legs looked like they were twisted up", Michelle said.

Three people were seriously injured and another three suffered minor injuries, the fire department said. She fell but she got up and ran inside, "And I saw one of my friends on the floor".

"She was like, 'my legs, ' I was like, 'It's ok it's alright, just stay calm, '" said Witness Josephine Torlone.

Security video captured the moments when a 74-year-old driver accidentally reversed through the laundromat's front windows.

Zoraida Michelle was inside the laundromat at the time of the incident with her father and daughter. All three got pinned between the SUV and the laundry equipment. "I just held onto her hand until they came".

Torlone said it's the scariest Sunday she's ever spent at the laundromat.

The store owner said he now has more than $20,000 in damages. Police are considering the crash to be an accident. "Closed due to auto accident!"
