Limbaugh to Evacuate Florida After Questioning Coverage of Irma

A pile of debris sits outside a business damaged by floodwaters in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey on Sept. 5 in Spring Texas

It's a fact: climate change made Hurricane Harvey more deadly

After claiming earlier this week that the Climate Change Industrial Complex is purposely fostering panic in the approach of Hurricane Irma-the Category 5 hurricane that is expected to slam in Florida this weekend-Rush Limbaugh has apparently chose to flee the state himself, Media Matters reports.

On Thursday, Limbaugh announced he would not "be able" to host his nationally syndicated radio show on Friday due to "the security nature of things", adding that he was heading to "parts unknown".

In a move that should shock absolutely nobody, Rush Limbaugh is leaving Florida ahead of Hurricane Irma-a storm he recently chalked up to a liberal media climate change conspiracy.

Limbaugh said the show will be back on the air Monday, but to be on the air Friday would be "legally impossible" for them do to the show out of South Florida. You don't need a hurricane to hit anywhere. By Thursday Limbaugh had changed his tune, calling Hurricane Irma "dire" and a "mammoth", The Hill reported.

The radio personality who has a $40 million home in Palm Beach, complained earlier this week on his WIOD show that there was too much hype attached to the storm, predicted to be a Category 5 to hit landfall in Florida sometime Saturday.

He made similar comments about hurricanes past year, saying it was in the "interest of the left to have destructive hurricanes because then they can blame it on climate change".

You have people in all of these government areas who believe man is causing climate change, and they're hell-bent on proving it, they're hell-bent on demonstrating it, they're hell-bent on persuading people of it.

"The local media ... reports in such a way as to create the panic way far out, which sends people into these stores to fill up with water and to fill up with batteries, and it becomes a never-ending repeated cycle", he said. And it's not the hurricane center doing that.

"There is a desire to advance this climate change agenda, and hurricanes are one of the fastest and best ways to do it". Residents in the storm's path have been strongly urged to follow instructions from local officials.

Rush Limbaugh has rushed to leave his home in Palm Beach, Florida. But if, if they are going to approach a hit on the USA, you will note that early tracks always have them impacting a major population center.
